Me and friends thought we found a lovely cute place for late breakfast. 5 of us ordered drinks and food. Within 15mins of orders being taken, I received my food however my drink was wrong so was my friends and the drinks had to be changed which was fine. The other girls food came as well except for one that we were told was coming so we accepted it. 25mins later I was the only one with food, whilst new people came way after us got their drinks and food within 10mins of their arrival. We mentioned this to the waiters more than 3 times and kept getting told it was coming. The girls eventually got their poached eggs but no bread, so they sat for another 15mins waiting for their bread, by then their eggs were cold. Again one friend looked for waiter to mention the slowness of the rest of the food coming out but received another “it’s coming”. It turns out my friend didn’t get her drink and croissant because the waiter didn’t even write it down. And she takes medication with her food. We had to share ours with her so she can take her tablets. It’s been an absolutely bad experience. To be sat waiting for food and drink after more than 45mins of arrival and in one case not even receive the food at all. Very very disappointed and feel like just because we are tourists we were treated...

Tinham apenas 3 mesas no terraço, contando a nossa.
ENGLISH Outrageous "boulangerie"
I have been to this restaurant a few times because it's next to where I live. Every Time I cannot put my finger on what is worse between the food and the service. First of all the boulangerie is located in a very beautiful little place with a very nice sunny terrace. The first day I came I found out the terrace had a more expensive menu then inside. When you pay 8e for a sandwich because you want to eat it outside, I at least expect some nice products, nice size sandwich with a side dish. But no... It was a piece of bread cut in two with 3 tiny pieces of mozarella and 3 dried tomatoes... No sauces, not even a bit of salad... For 8e! In Frence you can buy a very nice chicken sandwich for 3e Max.
THE SERVICE IS A JOKE! When you pay extra to sit on the terrace at least keep a waiter at the disposition of the clients at all time!!! The waiters are inside constantly, laughing and pretty much doing everything but their job. Today I waited for the bill of 2 coffes for half an hour... There was only 3 tables, counting ours. The waiter brought the food and drinks to the table next to us. Then he brought one bill of the neighbours!! Not ours! Is it that hard to bring two pieces of paper at once!?
Two time we also tried to order their rosebeef and they were out every single day since more then a week!! What a joke!! There's no communication in between the kitchen and the service, characteristic of a...
Read more2 more years, and again 1 star less ... Now they offer Pizza, and when I asked them why - given the Pizza epidemic everywhere around them - all they could say was that it's good pizza 🤣. I was happy to find "Good Cider" on the menu (and not just that awfully artificial Somersby), but they don't have it... The Alentejo white wine I took instead was madérisé, but they kindly replaced it. Overall, it puzzles me how many restaurants and cafes in Lisbon who stood out by being different are levelling off just that positive difference - and charging us for it. 2 years after my review below (from when I lived nearby): Prices have gone up like everywhere else (to a level that makes it much less attractive for me to walk here from Chiado), and they are inconsistent, with a glass of a simple unsweetened lemonade costing the same as a rich and tasty Sopa Alentejana 🤔. Tasty sweets, excellent coffee, and the terrace make this place my favorite for a late breakfast. (Edit 10/26/20: the quality of their coffee...
