This wasn't just a sunday lunch, it was a whole Portugese experience. My friend and I, hungry, stumbled upon this restaurat by chance. The owners welcomed us with open arms and explained the menu for the day. Everyone was very nice, even though we were clearly turists, and didn't know any Portugese, which is not usualy the case. There were quite a lot of people inside, mostly locals as far as i could tell. The boss, Euclidia, spoke pretty good english, her husband, Antonio, spoke only Portugese, but we managed to communicate everything. The food was very good, really proper Portugese food. I felt like I came to Sunday lunch to my Portugese grandma. I can't recomend them enough! I didn't manage to take any pictures of the food, as I ate it all too fast. But we did take a selfie with the lovely owner, Antonio.

This restaurant was by far our favourite during our time in Lisbon! The food was nothing less than excellent & every person in this restaurant spreaded the kindest and friendliest vibe! The staff was amazing with their recommendations & truly wanted the best for us. We enjoyed every bite and every sip!!

You definitely should come if you want to enjoy authentic Portuguese cuisine, great wine and friendly hosts. We tried the mixed plate of meat, it includes a basket of bread with butter and olives as starters, salad, black beans, rice, fries and desert with coffee. Let the host recommend you some wine!

If you want more than just a good meal, this is the place. We asked about some traditional dishes that weren’t even on the menu, and they made them for us anyway.

The owner was incredibly kind and generous, constantly bringing us food and drinks to try. The vibe was cheerful and friendly. We ended up staying for three hours, eating more than we ever planned, and still paid less than we did at other "top rated" restaurants.

It honestly felt like visiting someone's home. Not just for the amazing home-cooked food, but for the whole experience. It was almost like I'd been adopted, and they made a feast just for me.

Highly recommended if you're looking for genuine hospitality and a meal that feels personal...

My family and I had the pleasure of eating at Restaurant Brasa when we visited Lisbon. The food we had was amazing. However - the service we received was even better! They made us feel welcome from the moment we entered and proceeded to treat us like family the whole time we were there. When they learned we were visiting from Toronto Canada they went even further by offering us extra dessert and a complimentary beverage for everyone in our group. If we could give them more than 5 out of 5 we would. This was by far our best experience during our two week visit on Portugal. Our server Tania was especially awesome. We highly...
