I will say right away that I do not recommend the place and will not go a second time. We came without a reservation for the opening at 19:30. Places without reservation were only on the street. The waiter took the order exactly half an hour later. The food was brought in 40 minutes later. As a result, we were able to eat only after an hour +. It's horrible. Could have warned that the waiting time is more than an hour. As for food: the order was for ravioli with cheese and cream sauce. It seemed nothing complicated. But! They brought dry and cold pasta! pariezan cheese was separate. You can see in the photo that there is no sauce. And the worst thing is that my friend brought the pasta after 15 minutes! I already ate everything and he sat and watched me eat. For dessert they brought tiramisu. It was big, moderately sweet, which is great, but it just floated in the coffee. It's like the chef fell asleep and forgot about the cookies when he was making dessert. You eat it and there is just coffee in the plate and it flows from the spoon. I left the cafe full, but in a...
Read moreMultiple problems with the service and the food. Overall a very disappointing experience since this place seemed to have good reviews. We asked to sit outside since it was very hot inside and were put at an outside table marked Reserved. The server said it was okay to sit there anyways, even after I asked twice. About 15 minutes later the party with the original reservation showed up (very late it seems) and we were still asked to move to a table inside where it was too hot. We were served the worst caprese salad I have ever seen. Could not believe it. Buratta with four slices of flavourless unripe tomato and a small sprinkle of dry oregano. The bread served with it was obviously the cheapest loaf you can get at Lidl. The wine was terrible. It tasted like the bottle had been open for way too long. Our main pasta dishes were good but we were served our food at different times, leaving one of us sitting there for over 5 minutes waiting for the other’s main...
Read moreWe were so blessed, turned up on Saturday night feeling sweaty and annoyed as we'd walked all around trying to find somewhere nice to eat but failed. Happened across this place and despite it being obviously busy, they said we could take a small table for two in the corner. How happy am I with that outcome? Delighted is the answer. The food was delicious, you pick a pasta and a sauce so you decide what you want to eat and our dishes were delicious. The red wine my partner had was so tasty she ordered another glass and we shared a tiramisu for pudding. The staff were lovely, really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Special mention to their spicy sauce, it's not for me really but my partner said it was the perfect accompaniment to her tagliatelle with the tomato sauce. Thanks folks, you were brilliant. If you do want to visit though, probably a very good idea to book rather than take your chances like we did, you'll be...
