Enjoyed the craft beers at this very friendly spot near the "Intendente Metro" stop on the Green Line. Also, it is near the "Upon Angels" boutique hotel, where I was staying (recommended). I tried a flight of 6 beers, then went back for the "Tomantik Gose" (think "chelada / bloody mary) and "Atlantic Gose", both gose beers were Sputnik brews. They also have beers on tap from a few other local breweries, including "Dois Corvos", which is just around the corner. Cheap, small eats are available to go with your beer. Read moreI'm not a beer fan, and I don't have much knowledge of beers and burs. However, I liked Sputnik bar. That time, they had testing evenjng. Never tried anything like this. The one type (on the photo), which could taste strange at the beginning, but when the taste opens - it's unbelievable. It's like even a liqueur or cognac...actually it's aged in cognac barrels. The bottle costs around 14 euros, but if you want to taste, not just to get drunk, it's a good price.

There is a huge selection of craft beer but for those that isn't a beer drinker, they offer some "craft" sodas. Was pleasantly surprised! However, as it is a bar, wouldn't they need sodas (from a fountain) to create certain cocktails? They didn't have regular coke, so this craft, (expensive) soda was offered instead.
