The décor is tastefully done, especially the music videos played on the screen, aswell as many traditional Nepalese elements, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance.

Now, let's talk about the food. Bhetghat's menu offers a wide variety of Nepalese dishes, from appetizers to desserts. Each dish is made with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor. My husband and I found this restaurant while exploring the area around the Intendente Metro station. We chose this one because one of the staff members was kind enough to see us looking at the menu near the door and answer some of my questions. I'm vegan and my husband is not, so it was wonderful to find so many options for us both. I had the vegan Nepali Khana, which was like an Indian Thali tray with rice, pickled veggies, delicious fried veggie mixtures and a lovely soup. There were three good and spicy dishes and 3 mild ones to balance very well. My husband loved the chicken tikka masala on the Indian menu there. Hidden gem! I had an extraordinary meal at Restaurant Bhetghat. So good, in fact, that I went back a second time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had just come directly from the airport, tired, cranky, and with all of my luggage. No problem. Now to the food. All of the starters were excellent, samosa pakoda and the steamed dumplings. Outstanding! Now let’s talk about the star of the show. The chicken korma was, by far, the best I have ever had! The sauce was nutty and complex with perfect texture.
