This Pub is split into two sections in a handy manner. One side has your typical Irish pub, brown bar with sports (rugby) playing on the screens, while the other side has a disco vibe. Both sides had an amazing yet very different atmosphere. We wanted to get some Guiness but sadly there was none on tap, because of which we got cans which is less enjoyable but that didn't ruin the fun. We danced and had a great time.
This also held for the other side where me and my friends sang many songs with the karaoke that was there. There were however two points of attention. First of all, the dj seemed to not be very skilled with computers, while not a big issue, it was not very handy since the lyrics for karaoke songs were on the big screen. Pro tip: use windows key + P to extend screen instead of showing the same screen ;). Second, which I thought was bigger issue, there were some English dudes that were super annoying. Constantly looking to fight and trying to push you away. I hate fighting and did not really go into it, but I could tell I was not the only one who was irritated. Then there was another guy who was constantly hanging hanging around girls in a very creepy manner-getting too close while they clearly did not like it. Even me and my friends, who were clearly not sober anymore, could see this. Some security here would not be bad.
All in all, a great experience! Would come...
Read moreI have been a regular at the Irish Pub for the last couple of months and I cannot recommend it enough. The Pub has an amazing variety of beer to choose from. Everyone gets their moneys worth!
The service at the Pub is also perfect. The staff is friendly and always willing to make recommendations based on your preferences. They are knowledgeable about the beers they serve and are happy to chat with you about the different flavors and styles.
The Karaoke bar on the right hand side of the Pub is also a huge draw for me. It is always packed with people looking to have a good time, and the atmosphere is electric. Most of the singers are talented and the crowd is always cheering them on. It's a great place to let loose and have some fun.
I have been to the Pub 3 to 4 times a week the last couple of months and I have never been disappointed. The Pub is also a great place to watch sports, with multiple TVs showing all the big games.
Overall, I highly recommend the Irish Pub. It's a great place to grab a beer, have some fun and enjoy some karaoke. The staff is friendly, the beer is delicious, and the Karaoke bar is always a good time. I will definitely be back...
Read moreI was really sad to see how the servers appeard to be following a really scrict protocol. I came in early, around 7pm, and the room was empty only people at the bar, and there were 4 persons for one table. One was serving us whille the others were pacing around waiting for something to happend. For the hour and a half I was there none of them left the room or sat down, just stayed on their feet, looking around and at most talking to each other for a few seconds. As a former waitress I recognized this very very toxic managment strategy and can't help feeling sorry for these young workers that are being mistreated in their workplace. Knowing the restaurant and hospitality business in Lisboa they are obviously underpaid and still have to take these abuses from a business that makes thousands of euros...
