Jam Club — Restaurant in Lisbon

Probably one of the greatest nights out me and my friends have ever had.

Food-wise, we went here after having had dinner elsewhere, but we did get some small dishes during the rest of the night and everything was amazing.

Drinks - phenomenal. I mean, the bar staff are skilled and inspired. Their drinks were phenomenal. The signature cocktails are delicious, varied, there's something for everyone and amazing - they are also unlike most other places' cocktails so they taste fresh and new. Then, their versions of the classics are excellent too - the Sours and old fashioneds, the Moscow mules and mojitos. You cannot go wrong. And you can go off book - ask the bar staff to make you their favourite cocktail, or in their favourite way... Go off book and tell them what flavours you like and they'll make something up. Ellia also brings flare to the bar that puts the movie Cocktail to shame - it's a show.

But really, the making of this place is the people. Joâo and his team - Ellia, Julia, Marco, Paulo and the live music from Pablo - are the friendliest, most welcoming, interested bar staff I've ever come across. They ask about you, they introduce you to other patrons, they get you involved in singing along, celebrating, and enjoying drinks together.

A wonderful and unique experience that I can't taste highly enough - we loved it so much we went back on our last night and they all remembered us by name, where we were from, and made that night just as special. I may even have come back with a staff t-shirt for...

We were on the hunt for live music in Lisbon and found Jam Club through a TripAdvisor search, and let me tell you, the reviews were spot on! This small, cozy bar and restaurant was packed when we arrived, but luckily a table had just opened up. The staff immediately recognized us and got us seated, and the welcoming experience started right then and there.

We ordered drinks and a few appetizers while a solo guitarist played upbeat, sing-along bar tunes that got everyone involved. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it's clear that all bars could learn a thing or two from how Jam Club engages its patrons. Our server made the night unforgettable by organizing simple trivia games between tables, and each time we participated, we won a complimentary shot—a delicious mixed drink that went down smoothly and made everyone feel even more welcome.

But the generosity didn’t stop there. Throughout the night, our server kept bringing small plates of snacks, a gesture that was not only thoughtful but also kept us happily engaged and drinking. It’s safe to say we ended up having more drinks than planned, but that was all thanks to our amazing server, who knew just how to make everyone feel like a part of the Jam Club family. Their small acts of kindness and hospitality made all the difference.

We climbed a lot of stairs to come to this place and boy, it was totally worth it! Such a friendly service and intimate and warm atmosphere, we felt totally at home! Our group was 2 seniors, 1 kid and two adults and we all agreed - this place is awesome! Prices were super affordable.

Our server and the bartender couldn’t have been nicer! We were hungry and though burgers are not usually our go to, the jam and normal burger with fries and the veggie hot dog for me were quite tasty and price was amazing for what you get. I had a cocktail (not sure what the name of it was but it was a recommendation from the server for something fruity) and it was refreshing! They even gave us complimentary their signature pastel de nata shots and they were delicious.

There was live music and the gentlemen who was playing the guitar even took song requests and let our daughter sing a song with him! We had a great time! I am a bit skeptical when I see a lot of 5 star reviews but this place should have 10*! Thank you for the hospitality, we will definitely be back when we visit...
