Copélia — Restaurant in Lisbon

We found this secret little jem after walking up from the market in Martin Moniz. What a find: fine cuisine in a "cafe" setting! The owner was very friendly and helpful and cooker is amazing - accommodated all six of us straight from walking in and gave us very insightful recommendations. A straight forward road side cafe great or a quick bite.

Happen to stumble upon this while doing laundry across the street. Didn’t take any photos as I was in a rush and super “hangry” haha

Had coffee, tea, scrambled eggs w/ bacon, croissant and took away a cinnamon French toast pastry.

Quality on everything was strong. Lots of locals in the space so great for staying away from the hordes of tourists.

While on holiday in Lisboa, my wife surprised me for my birthday with a cake from Copélia. It was one of the best cakes I've ever had (and I've tasted a lot of cakes in my life). Our days in Lisboa were fun but most of all, I miss this cake... The other baked goods were wonderful as well. Great Pastel de nata and other pastries.
