A Taste of Home in Lisbon: Dragon Inn – Where Comfort Food Meets Convenience During my five-day trip to Lisbon, I spent the first three days indulging in the fantastic flavors of Portuguese cuisine. By the fourth day, however, I began to crave the familiar and comforting taste of Asian food. That’s when I stumbled upon Dragon Inn, a Cantonese restaurant conveniently located just 100 meters from LX Factory, one of Lisbon’s most popular tourist attractions. A quick walk brought me to a warm and inviting culinary haven that became one of the highlights of my trip.
Must-Try Dish: Minced Beef Rice
One look at the menu and I knew I had to order the classic Minced Beef Rice. When the dish arrived, the aroma of perfectly cooked rice and savory beef filled the air, instantly making me feel at home.
Here’s what made the Minced Beef Rice unforgettable:
Tender and Juicy Beef: The minced beef was cooked to perfection—soft, flavorful, and bursting with natural juices. Rich and Savory Sauce: The beef was coated in a special sauce that balanced saltiness with a hint of sweetness, pairing seamlessly with the steaming white rice. Perfectly Cooked Egg: Topping the dish was a sunny-side-up egg, its golden yolk just waiting to be broken. When mixed with the beef and rice, it added an extra layer of creaminess and richness to the dish. This simple yet comforting dish transported me back to the flavors of home, making it an absolute must-try for anyone craving authentic Asian comfort food.
