Up until I visited I had never had an authentic french crepe before, and let me tell you this was the best crepe I have ever had in my entire life! I had the petit paris crepe with coconut ice cream and the honey removed. The caramelised apples had the perfect balance of sweetness and fruitiness with amazing caramely notes, the nuts complemented the apples perfectly and the crepe was the perfect vessel. The coconut icecream was also to die for!! If you order this definitely remove the honey as it is sweet enough without it. To drink I had a small mocha which I an safe to say was the nicest drink I have ever tasted, not too sweet but beautifully rich, chocolatey and creamy - the coffee helped to offset the sweetness however i still only managed 3/4 of the small size. However, because the servers were french there was a slight miscommunication between icecream flavours but it was soon sorted! I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting...
Read moreWoke up feeling raunchy. Felt like going both ways today - both savory and sweet tastes in one go. So I picked out Le Bar a Crepes cause I heard they have that type of stuff ready to go. So I ask for a bottle of water to put in a glass and try to give water to my dog. The server comes to see me upset telling me that I now have to pay the glass 2 euros because of the dog. I answer that I would not pay 2 euros for the glass because I asked for something else to put water. The waiter wanted to call the police and purposely spoke Portuguese and English so that I couldn't understand everything he was telling me. This behavior is unacceptable. We tasted the galettes which are good but nothing more. I hope this server doesn't have pets because they must be...
