I went to La Panamericana for my birthday, and even though the food took a long time to arrive, I really enjoyed the meal. The service overall was decent, and I had an amazing BBQ rib — it was truly spectacular. I liked it so much that I told my friend Eve we should go there for her birthday too.
When her birthday came around, we went back, hoping for a special night. It turned out they were having a themed event, which only happens from time to time. While the staff was friendly, the experience was disappointing.
First, we arrived at 8:30 PM and they were already out of the dish I was craving — the BBQ rib I had loved. That was already a big letdown. Then we had to wait an hour and a half for a burger. Just a burger!!!Honestly, it ruined my mood.
As much as the food is excellent, the overall service and organization just don’t live up to the standard the place could have. I would have given it more stars, but it simply didn’t deserve them. A place that had the potential to be amazing ended up...
Read moreSo disappointing. It started with them not finding our booking and taking 5 minutes to get us a table in an empty restaurant. Next our waiter seemed or like he hadn’t slept in a week - he couldn’t get a thing right. The ceviches - plain and nikkei were inedible. I suspect the chefs had never had one themselves let alone know how to prepare one. The nikkei was overcooked shrimp drenched in soy. The plain ceviche was so salty they probably mistook the sea bass for salted cod. The papa a la huancaina was so spicy and again overcooked, we didn’t touch it. As for the mains, which were served cold, the fusion chicken was burned and laid over a wet mush of what seemed to be polenta but it could have been anything. The ribs were decent but had supermarket fries thrown on the side stale. The place is nice and just opposite the museum which is a great walk over the bridge, especially at night. Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting this venue, and it truly exceeded my expectations. La Panamericana is a blend of culinary, musical, and visual history from across Latin America. The space aims to represent every country. As you step inside, you’re greeted by the Andes, the vibrant colors of Chile and Colombia, and the paths leading to Mexico.
The menu offers a bit of everything—traditional dishes from Mexico and Argentina, with flavors from both land and sea. The bar serves signature cocktails, and of course, music and celebration are always part of the experience.
The venue regularly hosts live music and events, creating an authentic atmosphere designed to spread pride and love for Latin America throughout Europe and the world.
I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover this amazing world right...
