O Coche — Restaurant in Lisbon

We stumbled upon this absolutely fantastic little restaurant after wandering around Belém. The service was amazing and the staff made you feel like you were an old friend coming to visit. The food was also excellent. Extremely affordable pricing for delicious home cooked meals. They even have some excellent vegetarian and vegan options. I had the Seitan on a fresh Portuguese bun/roll with potato and it was simple yet so delicious! The rest of the group had a chicken dish and some nibbles to snack on like bread and cheese. The wine and beer were both great as well. Would absolutely go out of my way to return here the next time...

We had today’s special: pork cutlet and Portuguese sausage with black beans and rice. And pork cutlet with chips. These are Portuguese’s classic lunch which is not fancy meals but it had the authentic flavor. On top of that, cookie cake was the highlight of the meal. Probably the worst restaurant in Lisbon and on Earth. The fish and vegetables that they advertise is just a small piece of frozen cod chucked in the micro owen with few pieces of boiled broccoli and a couple of boiled potatoes. No flavoring whatsoever.
