Namaste Índia — Restaurant in Lisbon

Absolutely loved our experience at Namaste India! The food was outstanding – full of authentic flavor and served at unbeatable prices. We had the Lamb Bhuna and Chicken Jalfrezi, and both were absolutely delicious – rich, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection.

A surprising and delightful twist was seeing Indian and Italian cuisine combined on the same menu. We also tried the spaghetti and were genuinely impressed – it was just as good as the Indian dishes!

Special shoutout to Mohammed, who was an incredible host and server. He made us feel so welcome and took great care of us throughout our visit. His warm hospitality truly elevated the experience.

I went in the early evening (18:00) on a weeknight and was the only guest. The makhani dal ordered medium spicy was not very spicy but too mild, and was cooked with extra extra ghee and cream. Garlic naan was also thickly coated with ghee and a little pale, undercooked, not very risen. The staff were very attentive and nice. The location was convenient because it was on my walk back to my hotel, and I knew it would have vegetarian options. SO INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!! The waiter was delightful and we went silent eating because we were in sheer ecstasy. We had Indian food (they also serve Italian). I would give it straight up five stars for quality but am withholding one star because as another reviewer said, it is quite pricey for lunch. You have to pay for the rice and naan separately. I'm accustomed to rice being part of the meal and naan being a little less expensive than was charged here. We LOVED the food so we talked ourselves out of the sticker price...
