We ordered their Liton's Karisik Izgara, and the 'single menu' option is actually quite enough for two people if you're not super hungry. (It includes 1 Adana, 3 Pieces Lamb Chunks, 2 Pieces Chicken Wings, 2 Pieces Boneless Chicken Chunks, Little Portion Chicken Doner, 1 Meatball, 1 Lamb Chop, 1 Slice Lahmacun, Rice, French Fries, Salad, 300ml Drink, and 1 Small Slice of Dessert Revani)
It's my first time trying Turkish grill, not bad, but not very impressive either. I felt the meat was sightly overcooked (a little bit too dry and hard / not juicy and tender). My favorite item in Karisik Izgara turned out to be their Lahmacun...
We also ordered their Garlic Naan, and it's not served warm and kind of dried out a little bit. It felt like it was prepared a while ago and just got reheated, which is a little bit disappointing :(
The staffs here were super friendly though, so no issue on the service side. However, I don't really like the ambience of the restaurant - it’s kind of located in a semi-basement, so the dining environment is not very bright and thus felt a little bit eerie...It's also not very ventilated based on my experience there.
Very likely I will revisit this place again in the future just to try out some other items (they have over 200 items on the menu...), and hopefully I'll have a much better experience...
Read moreWhat can I say… I love Turkish cuisine and I went to Liton’s hoping I could find some of the food I love. I asked for the Mercimek soup, but the waitress, which was not Turkish nor didn’t speak portuguese, told me in a somewhat confusing english that I should try the tomato soup instead, when I said I really wanted the lentil soup, either Mercimek or Ezogelin, she said they were out of both.
For entry, I asked for Turkish bread, but again they only had Naan bread, which is not really the same thing. I think ordered one Ayran and Mango Lassi, both tasted spoiled and sour, and the Mango Lassi was served warm with an ice cube on top, which did nothing to hide how bad and warm it tasted.
Ended up ordering three Lamb dishes, but only two were served, which was probably for the best because the meat was quite rubbery.
For desert I asked for the mythical Künefe desert, which, guess what - they didn’t have. Ended up having just a Turkish chay, which I must say was the highlight of my visit.
What’s the point of having a 10 page menu and calling this a Turkish restaurant if they don’t serve half the items, and the quality of the remaining does a disservice to the...
Read moreToday, I had the pleasure of visiting Liton’s Turkish Grill, located in the heart of Lisbon.
As a Muslim, three aspects of the restaurant truly impressed me. First and foremost, the presence of a designated prayer area inside the restaurant was both unexpected and deeply appreciated. It immediately reminded me of the hospitality and thoughtful amenities often found in places like Dubai—a rare and commendable offering in a European country like Portugal.
Secondly, the staff were exceptionally courteous, helpful, and always greeted us with warm smiles. Their professionalism and friendly attitude created a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
Lastly, the overall environment was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and family-friendly. The food itself was exquisite in both taste and quality, complemented by a range of other thoughtful services that enhanced the dining experience.
I highly recommend Liton’s Turkish Grill to anyone looking to enjoy delicious food in a respectful, accommodating, and enjoyable setting. A perfect place to create memorable moments with family...
