I was in Portugal for just a handful of days and had such a fantastic experience at Norma I came back two nights in a row. Cozy, candle-lit dining area; friendly and attentive service; and some seriously excellent Moroccan-inspired small plates. I really appreciated the way the chef took traditional dishes from his native Morocco and elevated them to fit the Petiscos mold. Particular highlights included the bissara dip (made from split fava beans) and the zaalouk (smoked eggplant salad), both served with warm, house-made bread. The coffee, Moroccan-style green tea, and bottled soda water I had all tasted great and were presented with an unassuming elegance. (Everything was very reasonably priced for the quality, too.) Will definitely be back if/when I find myself in...

Norma is the kind of hidden gem you’d want to keep to yourself, so precious and special that you want it to be yours alone. And for good reason: not only is the taste experience unforgettable, with excellent wine and delicious moroccan food that’s always comforting—especially the potatoes and cauliflower—but the atmosphere is perfect too. With its relaxed vibe, flickering candles, and carefully curated music, it’s an ideal place to enjoy a cozy moment, whether alone or with company. The service is exceptional, and the staff’s warm smiles make it all the more inviting. I’ll always recommend it, and I’ll keep coming...

If you’re not coming here for the drinks and food, you’re seriously missing out! Every single dish and drink was incredible—nothing disappointed. The staff was beyond friendly and made us feel completely at home. The cuisine, inspired by Moroccan flavors, was nothing short of amazing. The chef even came out to share the story behind the dishes and his influences, which made the experience even more special. Honestly, it was some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. Huge thanks for the wine and the warm hospitality.

Eddie, you’re doing it...

2 Young men who just opened this lovely intimate bar. Norma means “normal”explained Haitam and Eddy , the founders of the place, effectively nothing really fancy but the ambiance, the service is excellent! And the food… wow!!!!! It is insanely delicious! Everything is on point! They serve Moroccan cuisine: the eggplant salsa, the shrimp, the potatoes…! OMG! The homemade olives! So good, that now, we do NormaThursdays!
