Bedbugs! Stay away! A friend and I stayed at this hostel and on the 2nd night we discovered bedbugs in our bed. We raised the issue with the staff and they told us it's not their fault, that the the whole city is infested and that the bedbugs were "brought in by the hippies". They promised to clean the entire room and our stuff during the day with a high temperature vapor machine. We were out late and upon returning to our room the bedbugs were everywhere (bed, pillows, walls, etc). We left as early as possible without getting any sleep and requested a refund for the night and the drycleaning expenses for our stuff. We were told they only had 15 EUR cash in the register to refund us and the rest will be sent to us by bank transfer if we sent an email with our info. I have since sent my bank details and multiple reminder emails that have never been answered and I never recieved a refund. Terrible experience!

Ita one of the best maintaiend hostels I have seen in a while. Super clean and gives you a good feel of being at home. Spacious alley area to walk. They provide lockers to store imp stuff (refundable fee of 5€). The kitchen is super clean and spacious. ( you can not cook btw 14-19 hrs and 23-7 hrs , for cleaning and noise purposes for other guests) A common area is cool..with a view of the see from the balcony. They have in total of 2 washrooms. Something that might get a little bit tight in the wee hours. One downside - its on the 3rd floor - carrying heavy bags up the 53 steps can get hard. But trust me thats totally worth it. Public transport is close by. Super market and subway(resturant) are just behind the corner.

Bedbugs.. After a few days of stay I started noticing in the bed some small black stains that happens when you roll and kill small insects under the cover. I explained the situation to the reception and they didn't care. After another night I confirmed with pictures that it was bedbugs. They moved me in another bed but the place was infested. I asked for a refund, and while I got it for the remaining nights they made me pay for the current night where I didn't touch the bed and tried to blame me for started the infestation. Just an awful experience. Place is a good position though. As if that matters.

overall stay was good however there are some issues that could be improved.||||breakfast - tea, coffee, milk, cereal, toasts and jam - everything would be ok if it was enough for all people staying in the hostel, we needed to ask many to bring more toast bread/milk/jam many times as the lady would give only 5-10 slices for a bunch of people||||attitude - could have been nicer (specially a lady from the mornings)||||rooms - rooms were ok however staff did not respect people sleeping in their rooms i.e. they would open the doors and keep talking waking everyone up; also, they would not inform new people that rooms are to be kept quiet and other areas (corridors, two big lounge rooms) are for chatting; also, only two bathrooms for about 5 rooms (each with about min 4 ppl)||||English language - man from the evenings has quite poor English but it was not such a big problem; the main issue was that he would agree/nod/answer to everything you say suggesting he understands and later turns out he did not get anything e.g. we were asking him if he was gonna be at the reception around 8am so that we could check-out, have our breakfast (normally starts 8.30am) and ask him to help calling a taxi - turned out he was not at the reception at all, there was no...

We book there for four nights.|from the outside it is nice close to the center of the city, you can do most of everything walking distance The price is affordable, around 70€ for 4 nights including breakfast.|The downside, first the hostel is on the fourth floor without elevator then they say breakfast included but you don’t have anything (coffee which is solvable, a bit of tea and bread). You do you’re own dishes which is quite normal...|If your sensible to noise don’t go there! You have a nightclub on the ground floor and from 11 PM to 6 AM you have all the beats from the nightclub everything is shaking you couldn’t sleep!|The beds look nice but you sleep on horrible maltase, with some plastic on in. I understand that for hygienic measures they put something but the plastic is noisy and uncomfortable! |The cleaning of the bathroom doesn’t exist. they were two bathrooms with two toilets and two showers but only one shower works so you need to wait until you can find a spot and get a shower. To close the door it is a small lock but you can see the person showering inside... |People were nice which is the most important and another good thing is that you can come back late there is always someone opening the...
