This place is amazing in every way. Every dessert enthusiast and foodie should come here. I tried these desserts: - a beet cake with requeijão (type of Portuguese cheese), beet sorbet, and a beet and port wine reduction - a hazelnut mousse with mushroom ice cream and bolete powder, topped with milk foam, carob, and hazelnuts - a cake roll with black tea mousse, grapefruit pieces, and grapefruit ice cream The mushroom and hazelnut flavors worked well together. The beet dessert was spectacular, one I want to come back for and make my husband try. You will not find some of this restaurant's flavor combinations anywhere else in the world. Impressive wine and tea selections. The menu indicates which wine pairs best with each dessert. You can order high end teas, like milky oolong or Japanese sencha, that normally you would only find in specialty tea shops. The restaurant serves you water as you sit down, unprompted and without charging you - a rare treat in Europe. There is a tasting menu of 4 desserts (40 euros) with optional wine/tea pairings (20 euros). I didn't like one of the ingredients, so I ordered 3 à la carte desserts for around the same price (each dish costs up to 13 euros). Those portions are a little larger. I was very full afterward. For 3 dishes and 1 glass of wine, I spent less than 50 euros. The service is wonderful, and the owner is friendly. She helped explain everything about the menu and provided suggestions. Her and the staff speak great English and are also patient if you want to practice imperfect Portuguese with them. To sum up: this was a superb, Michelin quality experience for a bargain of a price.

Coming here, trying their dessert is same as going to see an art exhibition except here you experience with your tongue. I find it is the same way as artist choosing different colors of paints and material to create a final peice. Here the chef uses verities of edible ingreidients to come up with her own creative recipe to find all the balance of flavors, texture and the tastes. Yes, It is pricy, not a place people would go like paderia, but in special occasions with loved ones or to treat yourself this is the place where you can guarantee to have a nice special experience that what you pay is surly worth it. I hope this place stays long here in the neighborhood and have many people to experience the same I did. I tried very authentic combination of Miso, barley icecreem, cocoa, nuts... It was very special and surprisingly well balanced all together. Also the one with great fruit and black tea was unforgettable. Every 2 to 3 months the menu changes, so it is always good to try verities of creative special dessert in each seasons.

Ana Raminhos is possibly the most talented dessert/pastry chef in Portugal. She quietly works her magic behind the kitchen and produces the most refined and exquisite desserts that I’ve ever tasted in Portugal. I found out later that she’s been awarded many awards, featured in multiple Portuguese language newspapers/magazines . She’s humble and has not advertised her restaurant and relies on her customers to spread the word. The combination of flavors, her silent dedication in getting the balance of flavors right- made the experience truly special. Wasn’t sure I wanted to share this review for fear of overwhelming response but she deserves the recognition for sure. She’s the first dedicated dessert restaurant in Portugal - it’s about time!! Will certainly be back for more experiences with friends.

Simply exceptional. Put a michelin-star level pastry chef in charge of a restaurant serving just desserts, and you get what is no less then a sweet-toothed foodie paradise.

We stumbled upon this place last year, on a rainy night in Lisbon, after having had a non-satisfactory dinner and craving for dessert. Google maps pointed us to Raminhos Desserts. The reviews did give us some idea on what to expect, but all those exepctions were still surpassed by what Ana served us that evening, even though she was already closing up for the night when we walked in as she didn't expect any more customers and we didn't make a reservation.

Last week, we were back in Lisbon and couldn't skip another visit to Raminhos Desserts, this time with a reservation. Ana did not disappoint. She served us another great four-course tasting menu, matched with great wines by her sommelier, whose name I unfortunately do not remember. My better half skipped the wines and matched up the desserts with tea.

If you're in Lisbon, really, don't miss a visit to Raminhos Desserts. We're foodies who travelled all over the world, but this is really a gem and a concept that we've yet to come across anywhere else.

Pricing is fair, with the tasting menu going for around EUR 40 a head and another EUR 25 or so for the wine pairings. There is a a-la-carte option as well if you don't want the entire 4-course menu.

Unfortunately, Ana still doesn't have an easy way to make a reservation online through TheFork, Google or otherwise, so the easiest way is to send her a message through Whatsapp on the phone number for Raminhos Desserts as listed on...

My recent visit to Raminhos Dessert turned into one of the most delightful dessert adventures I've ever embarked on. This place truly knows how to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Their menu is a smorgasbord of tempting treats, but the real star of the show was undoubtedly the Berries Tart. This dessert was a masterclass in balance and flavor, the kind of dessert that leaves a lasting impression.

The tart was perfectly baked with a crumbly, The filling was a symphony of sweetness, tartness, and fresh berry flavor, a perfect harmony that would cause any dessert lover to swoon. The berries were fresh, their natural tartness beautifully offsetting the sweet filling.

The presentation was just as impressive as the taste, with the tart adorned with a generous amount of vibrant, fresh berries that burst with flavor. Each bite was an indulgence, a celebration of sweet, tart, and buttery flavors dancing together in perfect harmony.

Beyond the dessert, the ambiance of Raminhos is cozy and welcoming. The staff are warm, attentive, and have a real passion for their craft, which is evident in every dessert they serve.

Raminhos Dessert, with its enchanting treats and excellent service, is a must-visit for any dessert lover. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of an outstanding dessert experience. Can't wait for...
