Restaurante Varanda Azul — Restaurant in Lisbon

Cafe is located inside a stadium of local football club Belenenses and it was quite strange how we ended up here, because it's impossible to notice from outside if you don't go inside stadium area.

However, surprisingly, cafe was quite good. We ordered only fries & drinks, but it was the by far beat fries I've tried in Lisbon. They had other options in the menu, but cafe was closing very soon and we did not have anytime.

Quiet restaurant inside CFBelenenses stadium. Very nice view and a chic atmosphere... but without being pretentious. The menu is simple but with a good variety. The majority of the food is good, but not overwhelming; the risotto was very good but the robalo-filete was a bit dry. But overall was good. Fui almoçar à petisqueira Matateu e tinha feito reserva com The Fork. Quando cheguei às mesas da Petisqueira não estavam prontas e sentei-me na parte do restaurante Varanda Azul (não sem solicitar autorização previamente). Decidi almoçar ali e perguntei se podia mudar a reserva para o Varanda Azul utilizando o The Fork, anuiram. Trocaram a bebida sem avisar e puseram num copo quando disse não ter sido aquela a bebida que tinha pedido, responderam que era o que tinham percebido. Pedi como entrada 2 croquetes que devem ter demorado 1/2 hora a seguir apresentaram -me um prato que eu tb não tinha pedido mas levaram para trás (com um ar insatisfeito), aproximou-se 1 Sra Carolina que devia ser a gerente e se limitou a perguntar se estava tudo bem. No final pedi 1 café em chávena fria e mais 1 vez se enganaram e vinha quente, quando pedi 1 chávena para despejar o café a empregada olhou para mim, fulminando-me. No final veio a conta e disse para terem atenção porque tinha feito a marcação pelo The Fork e podia ter algum benefício. Apareceu de novo a Sra Carolina que disse que a marcação tinha sido para o Matateu e não para ali, foi antipática e com uma má atitude. Eu que gostava de lá ir não sei se volto. Dizem que não se paga estacionamento, mas paga-se...
