Salty Floor in Belém is an absolute gem and easily one of Lisbon's best spots for natural wine lovers! From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Their natural wine selection is truly exceptional, featuring a carefully curated collection from both Portugal and around the globe. It's clear the owner puts immense effort into sourcing unique and interesting bottles, and their passion for natural wine shines through. Beyond the fantastic wine, the food menu of tapas and creative dishes perfectly complements the drinks. Everything we tried was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. What truly sets Salty Floor apart, though, is the friendly and welcoming staff. They're knowledgeable, happy to offer recommendations, and genuinely contribute to the relaxed and enjoyable vibe. Plus, it's a huge bonus that they're pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends along to enjoy the experience with you! Whether you're looking for a comfortable spot indoors or prefer soaking up the sun on their lovely terrace, Salty Floor is the perfect place to unwind and discover something new. It's not just a wine bar; it's an experience, and I can't recommend it...
Read moreThe Salty Floor is an absolute gem in Belem! (And easily one of Lisbon’s standout spots). Whether you’re on your own or sharing time with friends, the inviting warmth and wine wisdom of the owner (she knows her wines!) will draw you in and make it hard to leave. It’s the kind of unpretentious place that invites you to slow down and savor.
The space inside is cozy and intimate; outside, charming tête-à-tête tables on the sidewalk, perfect for a glass (or two or three) as a local or a tourist. The shareable plates are delicious - don’t miss the rillettes or the feijão verde (personal favorites). This isn’t the kind of place that gives you cheap peanuts and pretzels - the food is as good as the wine :)
Add in the relaxed, dog-friendly atmosphere, and The Salty Floor becomes not just a wine bar, but a memory in the making. It’s the kind of place I’ll gladly return to every time I’m...
Read moreI make sure to go there at least once a month. The owner is super nice, and the house has two resident doggies that add io to the place. You have some bites that match perfectly with the wines, the place is calm, so you can go there, relax, and drink wines that you won't reaaly find around here. They are not on the cheap side, but if you like to taste different wines from various countries, that's the place to go! The 10-15 per person I've mentioned is not for loners though, as the wines are around the 25-39 EUR price tag. Still totally worth it. PS: I absolutely forgot to mention that you can buy the bottles take away (around 13 EUR) and also buy by the glass, which are pocket friendly, and it would be unfair of me to leave those...
