This is what I love about finding a place and being very surprised when it's excellent. We stood on the road and could see maybe 10 restaurants. So we went to the one we couldn't see. The place was really busy but we managed to get a table. Menu want massive or usual. We went for a sharing session. Veal carpaccio with rocket and parmesan. Caper dressing. Excellent. I think it needed salt but wifey disagreed. We had to get the burrata as it's a personal favourite. This was with honey and mustard which I found intriguing. And delicious. The anomaly of a choice was the truffle pasta. It was a side. It sounded too good so we got it. I think it was the best thing I ate in Portugal. Including Porto... We even shared a desert. It was naughty. Peanut mousse with ice cream in a brandy snap basket. Loved it. Glad we shared it. The staff were lovely. The ambience was lovely. The food, some of the best. Try this place if you're even...

The only good thing about this place, is the atmosphere. A given being that this place is in the heart of Belem. Me and my girlfriend were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff couldn’t cook nothing right we ask the “house” dishes, bacalhau a ferreiros, and the “naco”. Frozen food not worth the price, turistic trap, and when I asked for complaining book the staff called us “xico esperto” a real offense, and completely offended us with other words. Because they didn’t know my girlfriend understands perfectly Portuguese, they cursed us. And then one of the staff members was really rude and threaten us of fighting.

Sad experience I had to see my gf eating alone and not even sorry they were. After I asked for complaining book they didn’t had it available… avoid this...

I was actually excited to write this review for a well deserving restaurant! I absolutely loved this restaurant. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. The presentation was that of a very high end establishment. I had the seared tuna and my husband had the Portuguese steak. We also had the cheese board and the peanut butter dessert by recommendation of Miguel, I don’t normally order peanut butter desserts but that dessert was something else!!! The peanut butter was a fluffy but crunchy mousse with a sweet flaky shell. BUT THE TUNA!!! The portobello mushroom, filled with mashed potatoes and a creamy gravy, perfectly seared tuna topped with an amazing wasabi slaw (very light flavor) not overpowering. Hats of to the chefs and thank you Miguel for...

Unquestionably one of our favorite meals in Portugal. Got there early to snag an outdoor table for lunch and enjoyed the shade of the alleyway and umbrellas. Started with the grilled sardines. Bar none the best I’ve ever had. The bones slid out easily and the fish was charred perfectly without drying out one bit. I had the Filete A Ferreiro which had a wonderful sauce and healthy portion of fries. My wife had the duck rice…one of the best bites we had all trip. The meat and rice were perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and wonderful consistency. Service was exceptional and friendly as can be. Will think of this meal fondly for a long time.
