Read moreOn holiday in Portugal, we stopped here for lunch for the three of us. Our order for drinks and food was taken quickly. We ordered a shrimp wrap, pulled pork bun with red onion and bbq sauce with a strawberry milkshake, apple juice and a beer they were very good they made lasagne that wasn't on the lunch menu for one of us.
The service was good and they were accommodating with the food order.
We waited 30 minutes, and no food arrived. I noticed two people came into the restaurant after us and they received their food and had finished eating. We were waiting an hour for our food to arrive, when I asked how long it was going to be. I was told it was coming. When the food arrived my pulled pork bun was cold, I was so hungry I ate it. I also had the prawn lasagne which was very tasty. I hadn't had one of that kind before. My other half had rib eye steak which I tried and was very succulent. He also had garlic Prawns in a peri peri sauce to start, the sauce was divine. We had a bottle of Portuguese chardonnay which was very lovely. For dessert my other half had Swedish pancakes which looked nice. The bill came to €102 which I thought was extremely reasonable for three and two courses with a bottle of wine. I hope to return as the menu is out of this world and I'd love to work my...
