Amorino Ice Cream - Vilamoura Marine Deck — Restaurant in Loulé

My husband and I enjoyed this place a few times during our stay in Vilamoura marina. The staff are amazing, very polite and happy as they serve. The ice cream and sorbets are amazing. They take time out to go through the allergy chart mounted on the wall with you. Coffee is lovely. Thank you for making us feel welcome and taking tine to help explain things with my dietary requirements: gluten free and vegan options is not always easy in another country. 26th July evening was great. The lady who appeared to be in charge was a true team leader. As the queues stretched outside down the marina to be served, she continued to support her team stay calm, interact with her customers explaining every detail about what they offer with smile! Enquanto Vilamoura, em pleno setembro, derretia ao sol, vim em busca de uma gelataria. Deparei-me com esta gelataria, que embora já tivesse ouvido falar, nunca lá tinha ido antes. Antes mesmo de por à prova os sabores da gelataria Amorino, é o olhar que é seduzido. Os olhos também comem e, neste caso, a atracção está no facto da gelataria não utilizar os tradicionais cones com bolas de gelado. O romantismo da decoração foi transportado para os cones, que surgem enfeitados com uma flor em forma de gelado. Pode mesmo escolher-se, por exemplo, um sabor para cada pétala ou um só sabor para toda a flor. Fiz uma pesquisa rápida no Google para perceber melhor a origem destes gelados: é uma criação da autoria de Paolo Benassi e Cristiano Sereni, grupo que já conta com mais de 80 gelatarias em dez países, que decidiram abrir em Portugal por ser um país maravilhoso e com um clima muito bom. A gelataria é especializada em gelados artesanais que são produzidos e posteriormente exportados, em arcas refrigeradoras, de uma fábrica francesa. É de Paris que os gelados partem rumo aos quatro cantos do mundo para serem vendidos nas diversas lojas. Located by the Marina in Vilamoura. Amorino has the some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted and it's presented like a piece of art, absolutely beautiful. The guy who served us was really helpful and let us sample a few flavours before we decided on our combinations. It's a bit more expensive than other places, but totally worth it.
