Gávea - Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Loulé

I must have ate in over 200 restaurants in the past 3 months . THIS IS THE WORSE of them all. Absolutely shocking food . CHEAP. THEIR REVIEWS SAY IT ALL.

Ordered prawns in garlic (prawns were uncooked and raw) Ordered chicken nuggets and chips for the child (black chicken under batter) dangerous 3.Fillet steak absolutely Tasteless 4.Pepper sauce tasteless and CHEAP 5.When you ask for the pepper sauce to be on the side of the steak (they charge you 3€ extra why I don’t know😂. 6.Cheapest of the cheapest house wine would find better in McDonalds if they brought it out. 7.Staff were nice but they knew quite well maybe because they were use to such complaints . 8.Don’t go 9.Don’t waste your money 10.Keep walking...

Excellent service, by our waitress Tia (might have spelt that wrong), very attentive, especially with my husband's son who is autistic. The food was good, I'm a Sea Bass eater, so no faults. You can order a small or large lasagne. My husband had a chicken salad. The pictures say it all. Food came piping hot as expected. I swapped my boiled potatoes for rice.

I had a large fresh orange juice and the waitress brought the ice separately.

Not overally pricey either, for three people we paid €70 that included half of bottle of red wine.

Will more than likely go back before leaving Portugal....

Food was absolutely terrible - bland, unappetizing, basic. Ordered pizza Regina, hamburger and caprese salad all around 15 euros. Pizza looked like it was bought from grocery freezer and heated in a microwave. Hamburger was tasteless. Should've been tipped off by the menu - they make everything but specialize in nothing. Happy hour drinks were cheap but food was an awful and a ripoff. Wasted 100 euros at this restaurant. Only redeeming quality is the Marina view. Don't waste your money here, 100% a...
