Background: So many places were closed for lunch on the weekend as of Oct 2021 (likely due to Covid), and this place was open! The place smelled really good. It turned out that they had such a great business the night before they were not sure if they were out of bread and curry sauce! (They were in the middle of making more when we came around 11:45am) I appreciated their honestly and ordered accordingly. Had a takeaway whilst on holiday. It was OK but nothing outstanding. To me the chicken in the dishes seemed like the frozen with added water type that you get a lot of from takeaways. I had the garlic chilli chicken which wasn't particularly strong on the garlic front and wasn't very spicy either. Also had the strangest keema nan ever. Was sparsely filled with some red stuff which I'm not even sure was meat. There was that little of it that I really couldn't tell what it was. All keema nans I've had previously were filled with a full sheet of minced lamb. Wife also said her Korma was rather bland. Maybe we've been spoiled with our local takeaway at home. Unfortunately on this occasion this restaurant just didn't live up to the slew of 5 star reviews it...

Very good service. Willing to listen and accommodate your request. Option to choose the spice of some dishes - I chose medium and it really was medium. Perfect taste, beautifully cooked.

My partner's onion bhaji was good but not great, served in flat pieces. The sauce for the chicken Korma was OK and the chicken was very tender.

The naan was far too big, taking up ridiculous amounts of space - I feel this is a gimmick and really not necessary.

For me, the food was very good. For my partner, decent but nothing to shout about.

We would definitely go again and try different items...
