The only small drawback is that they don’t always accept card payments, which can be a bit inconvenient for tourists who don’t carry much cash. Still, that’s a minor detail compared to the overall experience.

I’ve been several times with my Portuguese wife and family, but if you go there by yourself as an English speaking tourist expect to get ripped off on portioning.

The boss was instructing a new staff member today and even with my weak Portuguese I could tell that the boss was instructing the server to rip me off over 20 cents worth of gelato. I received lees than half a scoop.

I was going to say something, but it also seemed the boss ids a difficult person or having a bad day. I don’t blame the employee.

I practically live here but will give my business to another place. Tourists have to stick together.

Also, I’m aware there is an official complaint book at every licensed restaurant in Portugal and I considered requesting it but this is more affective. I hope they can do better because many people just don’t visit here once...
