A Hidden Gem in Vilamoura: O Vitória

This charming restaurant, located in Vilamoura, is truly a place filled with warmth and a personal touch. Emilia, the heart and soul of this place, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. She handles almost every table with such enthusiasm and care. I hadn’t been here for over a year, yet she still remembered my favorite dishes — I was genuinely touched by her kindness and memory.

During this visit, I decided to try the Monkfish in Peppercorns instead of my usual Cataplana. While the monkfish was delicious and well-prepared, I couldn’t help but feel a bit of regret for not choosing the Cataplana, which is always outstanding. Next time, I’ll definitely go back to my favorite.

We have been returning to this restaurant regularly over the past 20 years. We have ALWAYS had a superb meal, the produce is always fresh and the chef clearly knows his/her way around the spice drawer, marrying flavours with different meats and fish. Emilia, always on duty, greets her customers warmly and makes everyone feel welcome. Also, this venue is excellent value for money. We always leave feeling well fed and relaxed, definitely THE restaurant to visit in Vilamoura, go once and you’ll go back a second time. Looking forward to...

The food here is excellent. There were 3 of us in our party and we all thought the food deserved 5 stars. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

The restaurant itself is clean and modern looking, and as the photograph shows there are tables both inside and out.

Prices were very competitive compared to the restaurants around it and we were presented with a complimentary drink when we first arrived.

We will definitely be visiting this restaurant...
