We had a wonderful experience at A Broa. Even though we arrived after 10pm and were the last guests, the atmosphere was still warm and welcoming.
To start, we were treated to a complimentary pre-starter of chorizo, served in a flaming pot for us to cook at the table – a fun and tasty surprise! For starters, we had garlic mushrooms and smoked salmon, both delicious.
For mains, my partner chose the sea bass, served with a fresh garnish salad and sliced roasted potatoes. He enjoyed it so much he was literally doing a happy dance as he ate. I opted for the pepper fillet steak, cooked blue. Not many places get that right, but here it was absolutely perfect – flavoursome, tender, and exactly how I like it. The portion was so generous I couldn’t finish it, and my partner was more than happy to help.
The service was excellent throughout. Despite being the last table, the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming – never rushed or false.
Considering the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. For two mains, starters, two soft drinks, and a litre of water, the bill came to around €75. My pepper fillet steak was €24, which is incredible value compared to restaurants on the Vilamoura Marina where prices are almost double for smaller portions.
We’ll definitely be going back before we leave and highly recommend A Broa to anyone visiting Vilamoura. It’s a memorable dining experience you won’t forget! Thank you for...
Read moreGreat local restaurant. We found this from reviews. A 'locals' restaurant that quite a few tourists have found. 2 minutes from the marina situated in a charming square that seems to have a number of really good restaurants. Les Pescador, Retinto and the Indian restaurant Nstraj. We had the Rump steak and pepper sauce which was excellent, and the special that evening roast pigling (which was good). Service from the locally employed staff was very good. Great atmosphere. I would suggest entering and leaving via the side road (Rue de Botelha) rather than through the pedestrian walkway that bypasses the 'Gentlemans Club' and Irish Bar. Some of the delicate disposition may find this off putting. A really great restaurant for couples, families and small groups. Also open Sunday.... Which some restaurants aren't......
Read moreOur family and friends have been to A Broa for a couple years now but it was my first time visiting yesterday. You HAVE to add this restaurant to your to do list. If the photos don’t convince you, at least go for the prices and quality of service! The manager, Antonio Almeda, is very friendly and passionate about his job! I will be recommending this place to everyone from now on. Outstanding food. Great people. Better than best prices! Do not miss out on the Chateaubriand (photos attached) €30 for two people and served with a hot stone to allow you to continue cooking the meat to perfection! Recommendation: if you like your meat cooked all the way through, order medium and cook it to perfection on the hot stone!...
