Restaurante Sitiado — Restaurant in Nazaré

My husband and I happened to stumble across this place because the one we first looked up happened to be closed . And I’m so happy this is where we ended up eating! We were only in Nazare for one night and this meal was impeccable! It’s a very small location, we didn’t make a reservation but we happened to show up just as they opened and they had an available table. I ordered the shrimp with garlic sauce and mushrooms. My husband originally ordered fish but when he overheard the nearby table ask about the big steak he was intrigued. The steak was gigantic and so full of flavor! We ordered a bottle of wine as well, which the staff recommended and it was delicious! The staff were super friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better or tastier experience . I highly recommend eating here if you are nearby . We stayed along the coastline so it was a short drive but...

Great little Tapas restaurant. I did some searching around the local area to find this place which came back with top reviews and this place lived up to the reputation. You do need to book to reserve a table or if you turn up when they open from 7pm you can probably get a table. It's local , authentic and reasonably priced. If you're into wine this is place also has loads of options. Food is really good and appears to be sourced locally and we'll presented. Access is easy. Staff are friendly. We had few recommendations of Trip Advisor which we were about to follow, however meanwhile the walk in Centre of Nazaré, we found this amazing place called “Sitiado” ... I can honestly say that it was a highlight of our Portuguese gastro-trip. We were advised that our table can be ready only in 20 minuets, so we opted to have few glasses of wine before our table was ready. Afterwards a very helpful and polite Brazilian waitress helped us to choose the right choices. We chooses Squids in olive oil and garlic, fried octopus, hunt sausage, shrimps on garlic.
