O Crispim — Restaurant in Ourém

Starting with the place, seeing the building from the outside we have no idea of the size and rustic beauty of the patio and interior rooms. The outside space is like an old patio with a roof of creepers or vineyards and a rustic decoration with a relaxing atmosphere.

There are several interior small rooms keeping the rustic decoration but all with much care and a touch here and there of sophistication.

Regarding the eating experience all was very well prepared and cooked. Grilled meat on point and very tender, codfish also very tender and not dry, and skewers with meat and shrimp visually nice and tasty.

On the downside, side dishes despite being very taste were on the small side to go with the main dishes.

The not so good part was the service. First we had to wait more than one hour to get our food after ordering. Second despite being professional staff could and should be more friendly and attentive. They had a full house but that is no excuse. The exception was the reception waitress that was very friendly and did all to help always with a smile.

Prices are a bit on the highside, but regarding the quality of food not absurd.

I recently dined at O crispim and I have to say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience from start to finish.

First off, the staff was incredibly rude and seemed to have zero interest in providing good service. We ordered a bottle of water, and shockingly, no water glasses had to ask for it , which should be basic service.

To make matters worse, I ordered the mixed espetada, and it was undercooked. It’s common knowledge that you cannot eat undercooked pork, so that was a major health concern for me. I couldn't believe they would serve something so risky.

Additionally, there was a noticeable pressure to leave quickly. It felt like they wanted to turn over tables rather than ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. I understand restaurants can get busy, but there’s no need to rush your customers out the door.

Overall, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to think twice before dining here. There are plenty of other places that value their customers and serve safe,...

Deverá ser feita reserva prévia dada a elevada procura, fica a pouca distância do santuário; fornece boas condições de estacionamento dado ter 2 parques.Um na lateral do restaurante outro enorme em frente à entrada. Funciona sobretudo por reserva do que nos apercebemos dado ser questionado logo na recepção, houve inclusive 1 equívoco com a reserva,ficámos numa sala da entrada porque supostamente não teríamos mesa segundo o funcionário. Mas foi resolvido e explicado pela gerente. Boa relação qualidade preço, excelente qualidade e confecção da comida servida. As entradas são tradicionais e o que as destaca é a elevada qualidade que normalmente não marca em outros restaurantes. Destaco a variedade e textura de pão acabado de fazer, destaco a broa mista de centeio, azeitonas do melhor que já provei,bem temperadas, bons fumados, queijo com rodízio final de morcela assada e chouriço para quem ainda tiver um espacinho. As entradas entreteem e é para comer com tempo, em bom convívio e degustação. Fomos em família, éramos 4,foi escolhido 1/2 dose de bacalhau à lagareiro e 1/2 dose de posta mirandesa. Atenção são doses generosas é para ir com fome ou ter muito apetite. Comida irrepreensível, Bacalhau lascado no ponto certo de sal ou ausência dele, perfeito! Migas do melhor. Posta também no ponto certo de confecção,muito tenra... Bem acompanhados com salada variada, batatas caseiras, Migas, arroz de feijão guloso... Não faltou nada.Bom vinho tinto da casa. Dispensamos só as graçolas despropositas do funcionário, até à forma brusca que nos abordou à entrada, podem ser mal entendidas. Espaço acolhedor e decorado de acordo aos produtos que servem, "caseiros". Sabores que se vão perdendo, foi 1 viagem no tempo à comida de conforto das avós. Sobremesas igualmente boas. Escolhemos mousse chocolate apresentava a textura perfeita pelo menos para mim, parte de cima camada mais riginha e Cremoso interior negro. Tarte de Limão e pudim,acompanhado com digestivo e cafés. O dia que fomos estava bastante frio lá fora, o restaurante tem esplanada ladeada e coberta por Glicínias, que acredito que no verão seja 1 encanto ver aquele lilás e sentir o aroma e o fresco naquele espaço exterior.
