Kansha — Restaurant in Ourém

Our go-to vegan restaurant here in Portugal. It’s a fully vegan restaurant that serves a variety of dishes, from sandwiches to vegan francesinhas to full entrées. Everything we’ve tried there was delicious. The restaurant is small but cozy, they had books you can read (mostly about vegan cooking) and even some materials to keep kids entertained. They also sell some vegan products like vegan cheeses and beauty and health products.

Such a lovely little place with fantastic homemade and vegan food! Lovely owners who go out of their way to make you feel welcome :) They even let us bring our dogs inside when we ate, incredibly accommodating in every way! This is the perfect lunch spot when driving through Portugal, you will definitely leave full and with a smile...
