Hotel Azinheira — Hotel in Ourém

We stayed in the hotel Azinheira from 2. to 8. April 2016.||||The hotel is located very close to the Sanctuary in Fatima. Only 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the Sanctuary. There are many roadside free parking facilities close to the hotel.||It is a modern Hotel. The Hotel, the restaurant, the bar and our room were clean. The staffs were very friendly. They were very helpful even though we do not speak the local language. All of our queries were answered professionally. The staff is efficient and in a good mood.||The room had free wifi. A locker was not available in the room.||As Fatima is a pilgrim place the most of the guests come in big groups. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are accordingly. There were no choices. Breakfast was less than average. The orange Juice tasted like a laboratory product. Lunch and dinner were of no taste. ||The restaurant staffs were friendly and helpful.||The restaurant was full of guests. It was unbearably loud. Many of the guests were screaming. La ubicación es muy buena porque estás a 400m del Santuario de Fátima. La habitación en sí es correcta, la cama está muy bien, ofrece un buen descanso, que otros muchos hoteles en los que he estado no lo tienen. Pero bueno tienen una televisión de unas 14' muy pequeñitas que era de renovar... Y parece mentira con la cantidad de españoles que siempre visitamos Portugal y nunca hay canales españoles... Con respecto al desayuno para mi de los peores hoteles de Portugal en los que estado (y he estado en muchos) te lo sirven ellos en mesa y es un plato con fruta picada (naranja , melón y kiwi) (siempre las mismas), jamón cocido, queso, pan, croissant pequeño, una magdalena y un trozo de bizcocho, yogures, una jarra de un litro de zumo artificial claro, seas una persona, dos o cuatro y café que siempre estaba frío... Para mí es muy repetitivo... Y muy básico... El parking del hotel tuvimos que dar la vuelta a todo el hotel por detrás porque no te lo especican y preguntar dentro si quedaba bien aparcado. No tienen plazas delimitadas y queda al aire libre. La atención del personal muy mejorable. Cuando llegamos el primer día las dos recepcionistas estaban hablando con unos obreros y tardaron en decirnos hola... Si queríamos cenar teníamos que avisar y de 19 a 19:30 y rápido peque les venía un grupo ey estaba todo reservado para ellos. La hora del desayuno a las 7'30h muy tarde para mí gusto... Y lo mejor de todo es que todos los días tenían grupos desayunando mucho antes de esa hora (una falta de respeto para los demás huéspedes del hotel) y menudo ruido para desayunar con ellos... Para mí es un hotel dedicado a grupos totalmente. A excursiones y se dedican a ellos. Menos mal que a los grupos los metían en una planta y los demás estábamos en otras porque sino para dormir iban a armar mucho jaleo... Yo creo que hay muchos aspectos...

I stayed at this hotel during the summer, and rooms are really comfortable. The rooms were clean and had AC although the city is cold enough that you will rarely ever need them.||Breakfast is out of this world. Many items to choose from, and quickly served by the staff, which by the way, is really nice.||At the reception they are very helpful with getting around and giving recommendations and directions to anywhere you might want to visit.||They don't serve dinner late at night, so if you feel like eating past 8 you have to give them a heads up so they have things...
