Charming restaurant located along the back streets of Regua and away from the tourist traps close to the train station. The food was so good that we actually went back for lunch and dinner on the same day. We had the grilled piri chicken and stewed pork belly for lunch whilst for dinner, we had the house special grilled cod and Bitoque (grilled steak with a fried egg). Food was very well prepared, cooked and seasoned. The house white wine was a pleasant surprise, slightly sparkling, very crisp and bursting with citrus and apple flavours. We even ordered an extra bottle to have it back at our hotel. Friendly service and the food and drinks are very...

We had the pleasure of dining at Restaurante Tio Manel today, and it was a fantastic experience. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they seated us quickly, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress, the owner’s daughter, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through the Peso da Régua region. You won’t be...
