Amazing Azoreian cuisine! Try the Cod Fritters or the fresh Cheese Plate, both are fire! The restaurant is beautifully done and under new ownership. Many of these reviews don't reflect that. Such a historic place! It's hard to believe the harbor used to come up to almost the back window a few hundred years ago. The walls of the restaurant reflect that in the picture and decor. What's great about the restaurant is doesn't serve burgers and steaks, which seem to be a dime a dozen. You can get that anywhere in Ponta Delgado, which is disappointing. We went back just for the lapas! I ate lapas every single day and this restaurant cooked it the best. They also helped us pick up the wine which we found very very tasty and well paired with our food.
