GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, NOT THE PORTUGUESE EXPERIENCE WITH THE RUDE STAFF THEY HAVE! Went with some friends that were visiting from abroad. Cold November day, nobody around! Sat down, it was like 8 of us so we pulled up another table. The prices were cheap enough, inside the pub it smelled like vinegar alot, so we stayed outside. Were comes the waiter with dreadlocks and tell us in a proper rude manner, you can't join t tables unless authorised by my boss. I said OK sorry we didn't knew, can we finish the beers? He started shouting strait away! I ALREADY TOLD YOU , YOU CAN'T JOIN THE TABLES. THIS ARE THE RULES! IF YOU DON'T SMOKE JOINTS IN YOUR HOUSE AND I GO AND I SMOKE ONE INSIDE IT.... WHAT WILL YOU DO??? now we were being super polite until now, didn't raised our voices, didn't made a scene, but that's what the waiter wanted. All the other tables that were occupied were dead silent now! I said to him still in a good manner. "Listen we just going to leave, I Don.t think if I was a seventy year old lady you had used the same example, we didn't knew of any rules its the first time we come here". See i don't like to be arguing with the waiters when I'm enjoying a beer with friends that came to visit from another country, they were shocked, they didn't spoke portuguese, they had no clue why this fella was shouting for no good reason. So your man keeps on shouting: I DIDN'T SEND YOU AWAY. I JUST SAID YOU HAD TO SEPARATE THE TABLES, I NEVER TOLD YOU TO GO! We just left then because it was ridiculous that he was imposing the rule in the first place if there were free tables; he was rude and was getting visible anoied though he was the one making a fuss and raising its voice; also then when we decided we didn't want that interaction he was shouting for us not to go because clearly that's not what an employer wants from his waiters that they rudely turn customers away! The entire scene was disappointing, I'm definitely never going back to that pub, because there's 2 right beside it. And the eejit that was waiting tables that day, just wanna tell you that: Es um palhaço, ninguem se assustou com os teus gritos rambo, eramos oito adultos e tu es um puto charila com a mania da grandeza, rude. A tua sorte foi que tavas a cortar o clima da noite, nao queriamos a tua má e detestavel energia pa ir pa festa, se chegasse a ser outra situacao eu tinha ficado aos berros la contigo e isso provavelmente teria afastado os poucos clientes que tinham esse dia otario. Devia ficar contente o chefe mais as vossas regras...

Cheap place... But unfortunatly I was with a gay friends who showed up a little bit in front of the bar and then... ultra homophobic agressive bouncer. They refuse to take orders from any of our 6 friends at the place for that, and for refusing to take drugs to their dealer, and threatening him to go to the hospital, we were calm, peacefull, and giving cash to drink...

Pas cher, mais j'étais avec un ami gay qui s'est montré un petit peu devant le bar, on a aussi refusé la drogue de leur dealer, et là le videur à refusé l'entré aux 6 des mes amis, il a menacé mon camarade de l'envoyer à l'hôpital pour... ça j'imagine. On était calmes, tranquilles et on consommait.

Barato, mas eu estava com um gay amigo que apareceu un bocadinho, nós também recusamos o haschich and weed do drug dealer deles, o segurança se recusou a entrar no 6 dos meus amigos em seguida, ele ameaçou meu amigo mandá-lo para o hospital por ... isso eu acho. Nós estávamos calmos, quietos...

I DONT RECOMMEND THIS BAT TO ANG GIRLS, especially those traveling alone. Bar is very nice, but the situation I had in the toilet... I entered and used the toilet, and then my friend was feeling bad, she wanted to come after me into the toilet and I wanted to help her. She was waiting in the line and it was her turn to enter. But two girls deicded that we cannot enter the toilet together and PUSHED THE DOOR so HARD that I hit my head on the wall behind ;)))))) what was this situation? I thought it's a men wanted to enter girls toilet, but it was a women.. I told her excuse me what is happening? The girls acted super aggressive. One of the girls also was turning against me 3 of her male friends. I felt super unsafe. Think about who you greet in your bar. The aggressive customers shouldn't be allowed. Also this was super unsupportive situation towards girls and I NEVER met any situation like this anywhere else. I suggest check Your customers...
