Unfortunately after doing a lot of escape rooms this was a miss (sort of). We were promised a room with incredible technology, but we found a room where you had to manually enable several normal light switches to turn on lights in the room. The escape room is build in an apartment complex, and because of that the toilets are left IN the escape room itself, and the layout looks like an average apartment. The puzzles were original and interesting, but, even though you know what to do, are hard to complete. Not because they are challenging, because it is physically hard to complete it due to older/inadvanced tech. Sure, the room is completely automatic but that is because there is no computers to be monitored or controlled. Everything is enabled by yourself. Interesting, and would work very well if it wasnt so unstable to control. Unfortunately, the speaker and sound system was apparently malfuctioning all night (without being told beforehand) and made up for an experience which was boring and not exciting or suspenseful af all. There was no developing storyline and the puzzles were not connected by any story. The good thing is that the puzzles were actually original and most of them I have not seen before. After making notice of the speakers, we were told no compensation is possible apart from a 5% discount on the next visit, which is kind of a let down after playing a not-so-thrilling game. All with all, we hoped for a technologically advanced room with a good story and nice suspense, but got an older, low-budget, quiet room without a feeling of accomplishment, even after winning (30 seconds after time ended, unfortunately) Beforehand, we met the builder/technician of the room who was very nice and kind to us, but who's exciting words unfortunately did not live up to the thrilling...
Read moreWe did the Sacrifice Room, and the reality was a bit disappointing. Everyone hypes this room a lot and the GM (Game Master) told us we would hear doors banging and people screaming but there wasn't any of that, the decoration of the room was OK for the theme but the ambience just wasn't there, it is not scary AT ALL, which in my opinion defeats the theme of the room.
Overall the puzzles aren't difficult but others have no feedback or make assumptions about the knowledge of the players which ends up in players having to ask for help. They do have some interesting locks tho so that was cool.
SPOILER ALERT:
The fuse puzzle is behind a curtain but there is no clue on how to find it as normally you don't use the background of the rooms. The chair didn't work and we asked the GM to show us how it worked, she couldn't get it to work either so we wouldn't be able to solve it anyways. The GM ended up blaming one of the players for forcing a door, but the mechanism of the door isn't connected to the...
Read moreThis place has the worst service I have ever experienced they kicked a group of little kids before the game finished the kids were very confused and even apologised and asked for another chance this was a horrible experience they are a bunch of little kids who were scared the staff are horrible and rude to their clients who paid and were nice who are just kids who were scared and excited.
