We politely sent back a vegan cheesecake ( because it was rock solid frozen, but also had a strange texture and taste, and also found some walnut shell) which was desapointing but fine for us. When we went to pay, we were told that we would pay half of the price of the cheesecake. I politely explained that we didn’t agree in paying for a product that was sent back for all the reasons explained above, to which we were told in a bad tone, that they didn’t give away food, and they were doing us a favor by cutting the price, that the cheesecake was supposed to be rock solid frozen, it had nothing wrong with it besides the walnut shell. We were taken by surprise by the attitude, and reenforced our point that a client shouldn’t pay for it, to which the manager said it was sad and ridicule for us to be bargaining. It was very aggravating. We ended up paying half of it with the rest of our consumption and will never come back, the place is nice and all of the rest of the food and drinks we had were nice, and we would come back was it not for that attitude and disrespect. It was completely unacceptable. It’s my first bad review ever, but as much as it is uncomfortable, this sort of attitude can not be ignored. Hopefully won’t happen to...

I went there today because of the good rating. Disappointing place. I'll explain in detail... Service: Let's start with some (not) minor detail: you can see attached a picture of spoons. They are with the handle inside the bucket. Every single handed spoon to a customer will have the waiter's fingers (and consequently any dirt) on it. Atmosphere: is a nice looking place, but the music was too loud for a cafe, and the toilets were completely unattended at 10am. Food: Oat late was insipid, no flavour and lukewarm. Matcha: you can look in the picture the colour and anyone who likes matcha would notice the dark colour of a cheap Matcha. Flavour was not up to what we expected. The oat pancake felt artificial, as if every ingredient was from the cheap supermarket next door. Chia pudding was good but not woooow... In overall the place looks like it was good some time ago and they are cutting corners in quality of ingredients. I don't recommend people going here. There is plenty of offers that serve good quality for money in Money in Porto. PS the pudding picture is half way through eating. In reality you get a nice...

We came there with my girlfriend when the busy time was just ending. Waited for seating for a while, but that was no problem. But as was the place getting emptier we were surprised that it took them 10 minutes to just show up and recieve an order from us. After we ordered the waitress repeated to us our order and left.

The restaurant was already half empty, but it took them 30 minutes to bring the food! What a unpleasant surprise that I got the toast which I did not order. Unfortunately I noticed that after first bite... I asked the waitress if she can look into the system what she ordered for me and it was this wrong toast. So after I said to her, that I did not ordered this toast but the other one, she just said sorry and left to watch her own business. No interest to solve it.

When we paid, we paid to the "our" waitress and she had the nerve to ask if everything was OK, like the whole wrong food situation never happened! After me replying to her: "of course NOT, you gave me wrong food!" She already looked like she gives a s* about my answer. I was really upset after...

I recently visited a cafe where I tried their Cocoa-Ginger Latte, and it was an intriguing and delightful choice. The concept of combining cocoa with ginger is a fantastic idea, and the drink itself tasted quite good. However, in my opinion, a bit more cocoa could enhance the richness of the flavor. On another note, I also tried their Matcha, which was well-prepared and satisfying. The balance of flavors in the Matcha demonstrated the cafe's commitment to quality beverages. The staff was pleasant, contributing to a positive experience, and the ambiance was thoughtfully designed. It seamlessly aligned with the cafe's concept, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While I didn't explore the menu extensively, I noticed they have an array of enticing options. Although I didn't have the chance to try other items, the diverse and appealing menu suggests a variety of excellent choices. Overall, the cafe provides a lovely setting, and with a few adjustments to the Cocoa-Ginger Latte, it could be an even more exceptional spot for unique and enjoyable drinks.

I honestly cannot understand bad reviews about the service here. We've been to Noshi many times (this and last year) and we've never had ANY complaints. The staff is always helpful and the food comes surprisingly quickly to the table. They even ask if we want our coffee before or after the meal. Also, I am gluten and lactose intolerant and this is THE one place that I am sure my stomach won't hurt afterwards. They even warn me that I'll wait a bit so they clean the kitchen before preparing my food, but even so, I never waited long! I've had various toasts, vegetable soup, lentil curry and vegan cheesecake and everything was truly delicious. I find the space beautiful and relaxing, especially if you sit in the back terrace. I don't think I ever felt so at home at any café. For me it's a no brainer, I would never miss a chance to go to Noshi when visiting Porto and each time I go, I cannot wait to come back!
