I'm having a hard time rating this as a restaurant, it's more like a comedy show 🤣 I ordered the Beef on the stone($20) and a beer($5). About 10min after ordering the waitress brings bread and olives and a couple minutes later she brings the beer. Note there were only like 4 other tables so they were not busy and the waiter that took my order was chatting with the guy in the beer tap the whole time. About 40min later they brought the food, which to my surprise was cooked on the table so it took them almost an hour to cut 3 pieces of beef and cook some french fries. The waiter was very rude to the waitress as they were cooking the beef on my table, he was pretty nice to me though. As I was eating I saw pigeons walking on other people's tables. The food was ok. When I went to pay next to the beer taps the guy told me thirty something dollars, when I asked why he said they charge for the bread and olives I never ordered, to his credit he took it off the bill. I then asked for the bathroom and when I got downstairs the whole floor was flooded however when I went to wash my hands there was no water on the tap 😅 if you come here make sure you're in a good mood and not very hungry, I was crying laughing as I...
Read moreWe were a bit dissapointed with their sevice and food.
With details:
They have international menu at the front door. Unfortuntely, the portier does not speak english and I can't recognize his portugeze speach. Knowing that we would like to see the menu he bring again portugese menu, how it was comfortable to him, but not to the guests. We need to ask twice to get english menu which they surely had on very dirt piece of A4 paper.
The toilet had no hand towels... the fashion sinks was full of calc which were not cleaned for months...
Food was not so delocious as on a foto...
owercooked or second time fried potato, few drops of side vegetables. The offered two persons lamb on a stone was so-so enough ony for one persone... We cooked it ourselfs on a broken to two pieces stone, so, the lamb meet itself was good.
tried to feed ourselfs with few tapas. "fry the sausischa yourself" they can't burn the fire during 5 mins, just the local sausage from supermarket... ower-priced 6 burned crewets... the cheese in bacalao was ok.
In total wasted 60+ € by two dissapointed persons. Run away and find something...
Read moreAVOID THIS PLACE! We sat down here because it has a nice terrace in the sun - and that is the ONLY good thing. Slow service (the poor boy was doing everything alone, while you could see clearly he didn't have any experience), dirty tables (with pigeons fighting on eating the leftovers, HORRIBLE). When I went to the toilets, I should have known that it would have been better to RUN - dirty lavatories without paper, but we still ordered food... Well... We didn't even touch it when it came. Burned peppers, greasy shrimps, beans and rice in salty water, bolinha de bacalhau hard and dry... We really lost our appetite when we saw everything. We decided to leave. Paid 30 euros for.... Nothing... I normally always check Google for reviews and this was the first time I hadn't done that - I guess I was too hungry. What did I learn? To ALWAYS check the reviews. So I could have seen that it would have been better to stay far away from this worst...
