Botequim Nostalgic — Restaurant in Porto

I was just walking with my friend, when I got a delicious flavor of pizza. In front of the guests of the restaurant there were street musicians with magical music that gave an incredible atmosphere. We tried white Port Wine - it was so delicious! I like it so much! You have to try it!

And also we ordered a 4 cheese pizza. The atmosphere was so good that we didn't notice how time passed and our order was ready. We asked for olive oil and spices to go with the pizza. It was delicious to eat pizza with olive oil, it was the first time I had tried it that way and it was unforgettable! Definitely recommend you to try it!

For dessert we ordered brownie. But it was an unusual brownie with nuts and it was also served with strawberries. I was surprised that it was warm, and so fresh as if it had just been cooked. Not too sweet, just perfect.

The price for two people: two glasses of wine, a pizza and one dessert was around 30€. There are cheaper restaurants in Porto, but in Botequim Nostalgia the atmosphere is definitely worth the price and overall the food was so tasty and quick prepared. This is a very scenic spot with a great view of the river, however I was extremely disappointed with the service. I was not drinking and was sat with friends who had 4 bottles of wine, it was pouring with rain and I was quite cold. I repeatedly asked for a hot drink from different waiters and they said they did not do hot drinks. I then went to the toilet and saw that they had a coffee machine and lots of herbal teas behind the bar. When I asked for one I was told I could have one and then the manager escalated it and said I couldn’t with no reason which seems ridiculous. I then was told I could have one if I purchased food? We were here yesterday and it definitely was not busy. Maybe 2 or 3 guest per staff. The staff seemed bored, not willing, rolling eyes, slow, almost annoyed. There was one guy that show willingness. Most staff was more into talking to eachother than helping tables

A can of side costs 4,50. You will not get a glass with ice or lemon, just a guess with a can of soda.
