We chose this restaurant because it was recommended by few portuguese blogs and people as a local spot. Then we read some reviews saying it is more fame than actual truth but we decided to give it a try anyway. Unfortunately I must confirm their doubts. The treatment is cold, they do not welcome you upon arrival with any kind of word or smile, they rather offer you some starters and appetizers that as I suspected/knew you ultimately have to pay. They could earn that extra money with a good service, through tips, but apparently they prefer this way, which is disappointing. The food was just ok, the cod filets with bean rice was tasty while some other grilled fish was a bit too salty, but overall nothing out of this world that should be worth a mention in a newspaper or blog article. Also, another elemente of disappointment is that there is not really Portuguese cuisine, rather grilled or fried meat or fish. Thas is, very shallow and anonymous cuisine, something you could easily find in another restaurant abroad. All in all I would recommend to look for another place to have dinner, I think it's time to reconsider all the hype there is...

Me (European) and my partner (brazilian) who speak Portuguese (with a bit of an accent) where to our feeling not fully excepted. Not a...

Nice little restaurant with inside seating only. The owners were very helpful and helped us select dishes. The seafood rice with monkfish was amazing. Livers with onions was delicious as well. They suggested the creme brulee which we took and found tasty. Definitely worth a visit for the food. Menu is small, and we didn't see much for vegetarians so do bear...
