Stumbled across this wine bar in researching our trip to Porto as it stood out having Vinho Verde tastings compared to Ports. I highly recommend coming here if you want to taste other regions beyond Duoro/Ports and are unable to make a day trip to the Vinho Verde region. You can tell the wines are carefully selected as they each had great stories as to how each wine was made - and they were all delicious.

Overall, we absolutely loved our experience! The top notch charcuterie, the wines we tasted, and enjoyed the company of Pierre who hosted our tasting. Only regret was having a dinner reservation booked too soon after our tasting - Would have loved to stay to chat and relax with a glass of the wine we tasted. This shop was highly recommended to us by a somm in Lisbon, and it did not disappoint!! Vasilii is friendly and engaging, and his passion for Portuguese wines is contagious. We did the “Wines of Portugal: The Best” tasting and it was a culinary highlight of our time in Porto. Vasilii was quick to ascertain our level of wine knowledge and general palate preferences, then curated the pours accordingly. We loved hearing the stories behind the bottles, and enjoying wines we might never find back home in the US.
