Dona Picanha Rodízio — Restaurant in Porto

My first time of eating picanha so I followed the reviews and ratings to book a table at Dona Picanha, but didn’t receive the picanha traditionally at all, more likely that the food was served on plates. The staff has told me before about the serving, but still charge the same price for a not picanha, disappointing. Therefore, some part of the meat had been very tough, some ribs were served, I’m not to judge but honestly not sure if it mean to be a Picanha. Additionally, a big group has set next to my table, which produced a uncomfortable noisy ambiente, and nothing happened to calm them down. I understand they were having an occasional dinner, but I was having my dinner too, and I couldn’t hear myself talking. This restaurant was absolute gorgeous! All the meat they provided was the best cut and very delicious.

Both me and my partner have never tried black beans before and we were quite afraid to try so, but the staff told us to try it. Turned out it was gorgeous! And it was perfect match with the rice.

It was all you can it, but we couldn’t order extra dish.

Very lovely experience here. If we visit Porto again, we will definitely come again.

Located in an enchanted ✨️ neighbourhood, the restaurant offers a nice service an amazing quality 👌 of food. The prices are quite good related to the great food. We went without reservation. But it should be said.. we arrives really early, just a few minutes after the 7h30pm when the restaurant opens its doors for dinner time. We took the "she and he" menu... 60 euros x 2 people. plus wine, desert and water... Black beans, rise, salad, pao de queijo, banana, etc as sides. we left 10% tips. They really deserved it. Highly recommended! We arrive by bus 500 is really easy...
