Casa da Foz — Restaurant in Porto

We have been to this restaurant many times over the last few years. The food has always been excellent. We noticed asr Antonio's rudeness to some people. What happened today was terrible because he was not professional at all. A few days ago, my husband made a reservation to have lunch here, for today. We had just finished parking and were walking towards the restaurant when the owner phoned. As we reached the door, he was at the door and told us that there was a problem with the gas, etc etc. He was not sure how long it was going to take to sort out. We were outside and noticed large groups arriving and entering, and he did not say anything to them. When my husband went to have a look, people were placing their orders. So why did he not tell the others what he told us. SR ANTONIO obviously has one rule for some clients and a different rule for others. What to say... 1st of all we don't have a table, yes we have a table for one hour. This statement should have made me run. You only get in when you got a reservation. Ring the bell and tell the secret code. Unfriendly service. Well the other guests were treated as guests are supposed to be treated BUT they were regulars. They don't need additional business. They have their clients. Pizza was nice but nothing to cheer up and down about. Mixed salad- unripe tomatoes and lots of greens. Phenomenal Food! This place went above and beyond to prove they had amazing food and top notch customer service. We arrived with no reservations and they sat us with no problem, but definitely make reservations as this place had every table reserved we just promised to leave quick in the time frame they gave us. Seriously everything from food to drinks we ordered was fresh and amazing all packed full of flavor. The service was spot on like a high end restaurant would have done. The desserts were absolutely delicious! Overall get reservations and have one of the best meals...
