Good Asian type food restaurant. Don’t get me wrong. Food was good. Not fantastic - this is in the end Europe. They just can’t get good quality ingredients like in Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh - and we can’t handle such taste ;). However it was enjoyable. I will definitely drop by for a quick lunch. Go for meat balls starter - very interesting although the taste can be too much - go easy with the bullion. ;)
The downside is interior design. Cheap , smelly and no airco in majority of the restaurant. Kind of flashy while it should be more on the raw and dimmed side.
Finally service - be aware you have to have cash or Portuguese bank account , PayPal I think is also ok. There is a small label on the entrance. Easy to ignore when driven by hunger :) so it was a surprise when maestro , Mastercard and visa were denied. Luckily I had cash. Read moreI recently visited Pattaya Restaurant in Porto, Portugal, and it was an outstanding experience. Located conveniently in the heart of the city, this gem offers authentic Thai cuisine that truly captures the vibrant flavors of Thailand. Every dish I tried was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with perfectly balanced sweet, sour, spicy, and savory notes.😍
The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy yet stylish, blending traditional Thai décor with modern touches, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing meal.
If you’re in Porto and craving high-quality Thai food, Pattaya is an absolute must-visit. I will definitely be returning and recommending it to anyone who loves flavorful, well-prepared dishes served with great...

We ordered the meat appetizer plate and 3 curries. 1/3 curries were good! I would suggest only going with the green curry if you were to choose. Please do yourself a favour and skip the appetizer plate. Very very very dry meat and unseasoned. Mango sticky rice would be a skip, the mango used did not go well with the dessert. However, the mango salad was good :)
Onto service, I understand being slow due to multiple tables. However, we were the beginning tables and they had forgotten about our appetizer plate. They weren’t the nicest but also weren’t the meanest. This is just a “warning” that service will be slow and it’s hard to get their attention.
Overall, not good food. If it was good food I would not care...
