I’ve been to pretty much every place in Porto that serves noodle soup or ramen but this one is my favorite.
And here’s why:
Check out the portion size, it’s huge! And the prices are super reasonable (even lower than elsewhere, which really surprised me). The broth is rich and flavorful (you can choose from several types). My favorite is the Peking Duck Noodle, look at those massive duck pieces! The staff is also super friendly.
Whenever it rains I never stay home for lunch, I go out for something hot. Today I ordered the Peking Duck Noodle with black garlic again but they accidentally brought me a Spicy Chicken Noodle instead. I didn’t mind at all, I love trying new things, especially at places I already like. A few minutes later the staff realized the mistake and offered to replace it but I said it wasn’t necessary. Still, they brought me my original order for free and I got to take it home :)
Customer obsession and delicious food at great prices, that’s what you’ll find here. Highly recommend!

None of the servers spoke Portuguese, overheard a conversation of them not accepting non-portuguese cards which in itself is super weird as a visa card is a visa card in Portugal as it is in Spain or any other country inside de EU....smells funky if you ask me (finanças matrix?)😅 About the food, every starter is over-priced for frozen and re-fried stuff, definitely not fresh. The truffled seafood dumplings had absolutely no truffle taste (which kinda defeats the purpose of calling it truffled). The fried shrimp are definitely not fresh as they were dry and rubbery when eaten. The ramen broth was actuallt good and the only reason I give it a 2 stars is because of that or else it would have dropped to a 1 star rating...not even addressing the seating right next to the bathroom 🤣 I have no idea how this restaurant has so many 5 stars...maybe I went...
Read moreYES! Good Chinese noodles in Porto! So glad to have this place around. A lot of neon lights, and colourful decor, that makes it almost seem like a video game, casino or nightclub in Asia. A bit tacky but fun.
Lots of good strong Sichuan heat in the food! It was SO great to taste proper spices again. Noodles where also very tasty, and the proper texture. Broth for soup was deep and satisfying.
It is geared towards the European palate, and I think your enjoyment will vary based on what Euro-style "Asian" food you are used to and which dishes you order, but for us, it was good enough to pass the test. Not entirely authentic, but pretty good, especially considering the city and country its in and our adjusted expectations. At least it was legit spicy.
They really should take card though. It's wrong...
