Ramen shifu is the stepping stone to a life of bulimia.
This place gave me food poisoning. I was up all night puking the life out of me and passing out in between my pukes.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Not worth puking all night from their subpar quality food that has gone bad. I’m sure it was the chicken.
Never go here!!!
EDIT!:
Reply to the owner who decided to comment back in Chinese instead of English:
Thank you for your rather assertive response. It's genuinely heartwarming to see that you're so invested in my bout of food poisoning. Kudos on the "fatal comment" realization – I'm thrilled to have contributed to your restaurant's learning curve.
Now, about that evidence you're demanding. While I understand your desire for an Oscar-worthy hospital diagnosis scene, let me enlighten you on the intricacies of food poisoning. Contrary to popular belief, not all encounters with questionable cuisine lead to a star-studded hospital admission.
Your culinary masterpiece managed to transform my evening into a living nightmare. Picture this: an exquisite symphony of retching and fainting, all night long. It was like my body hosted its private carnival of discomfort. If only I could have recorded my artistic performance for your enlightenment.
I commend your creative choice of language in your response, by the way. Chinese, a true homage to the diversity of human expression – just like the myriad of ways your food seems to interact with stomachs.
Let's not let language be a barrier in this conversation. Regardless of the language, my stomach spoke a universal truth that night: your food made me regret every life decision that led me to that...
Read moreThis restaurant has one of the most pretty decorations of all the restaurants I've been to, the food was really good aswell, no complaints. But Before that, I saw some other reviews complaining abt the service and food, at the start of tasting my own plate I thought something was missing as I like spices and heavy taste. I complained to the staff about it and they were patient enough to answer me and explain that the main focus was healthier eating lifestyle as salt would increase blood pressure and lead to other problems. Of course it makes sense and the taste wasnt bland because i then ate again another option and things were fine for me. Its a matter of preference and choice id say. The staff were really nice too and i was well served, maybe its because the time i went wasnt a busy time and the staff were enough to handle everything. Some comments i read are really aweful regarding to the staffs, i dont understand how such cute boys and girls are harmful, maybe its because they were too busy and there werent enough people so they couldnt attend everyone. Its a shame such shallow comments exist. But regardless, the food corresponded to the picture and menu i was given, and as i like asian food it suited my taste. Healthy drinks i had were something unique. I ordered a red fruit drink, it had a unique subtle taste of caramel on top of the fruit flavoured drink. I know this is a long review but this is what i think of this restaurant, feel free to...
Read moreI went to this ramen shop last August 2023 and I just remembered to write this review. It was almost when they just opened the shop.
The experience is not something to be repeated. My expectations were too high until I went there to try their ramen and experience myself. The staff said sorry for the multiple times until we could not count.
Cons They were so disorganized from ordering food, serving food, and even the payment. We ordered Bao bun frango and Shicu ramen at the same time, and my partner bao bun was served longer. They even packed the bao bun as a take away which should be for dine-in. My Shicu ramen cost me 14.50 euros and it was not worth it at all. The broth is tasteless, too much fat in the meat. Bao buns are cute and taste fine. The queue is a bit crazy. Be aware if you come with kids or elders. Parking is difficult to find nearby.
Pros The good thing about this shop is the decorations. The decorations are amazing. The staff are nice and speak English. They accept payment in multibanco or cash. You can order their ramen online by the delivery company. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. The shicu ramen portion is enough...
