Restaurante O Campo — Restaurant in Porto

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I ordered the fish of the day (sea bream) and it was sensational, super fresh. I was really pleased. The portions are generous. Besides the incredible fish, they also serve locally produced wine and homemade desserts. This place is away from the more touristy area, which is another plus to me. This is a restaurant where locals would go. In fact they have a menu in English but the staff does not speak English, which is a plus to me. If I come back to Porto, I'll visit this...

We went for dinner this evening and arrived just after it had opened. As others have said the prices are very low and the portions very large. We had the half dose portions for our main courses from the daily recommendations and each was huge. The food was tasty and the service was good. Menus were in English and the waitress had perfect English. We paid under €40 for 3 courses with wine - in fact this was less than we paid for a one course lunch today on...

Amazing food. We were in Porto seeking some home style Portuguese food. This establishment exceeded what we hoped for. Got a few types of veggie soups that were savory and flavorful. As well as a seafood rice dish; rabbit with some sort of wine reduction; and tripe dish with various beef and pork sections.

What we love most is the care and attention put into each dish. Highly recommended for those who want great traditional and tasty...
