This place has an incredible view. On the first floor, there's an enclosed area with large windows opening up to an ocean view, and on the second floor, there's a small balcony where you can enjoy the scenery. The girls selling desserts are very pleasant, engaging, and ready to recommend. The service is also quite attentive.

However, unexpectedly, we didn't like any of the desserts or coffee. We ordered cappuccino, lemon tart, and meringue. The cappuccino was unimpressive, and my friend said she didn’t like it at all. The tart was overly sweet. Typically, lemon is added to balance the sweetness, but this tart lacked lemon. The jam was too sweet, and the lemon flavor was almost nonexistent. The dessert was difficult to eat because it was too sugary.

The meringue was simply dry like a cracker, making it unpleasant to eat. I would say it’s worth visiting for the view, but not for the desserts. The desserts, which should be the establishment’s specialty, turned out to be completely disappointing. So decide for yourself whether to...

Love the overall look and ambience overlooking the sea, but we ordered poached eggs, they never asked us how we want the eggs, medium, medium well etc… it was bit raw (white of egg was watery) and we told them pls we dont like it this raw, then they said they will add it in the oven, which i think is crazy? Just make new eggs, they then brought the eggs back afer the oven, still looked raw, then we ordered scrambled eggs instead . This restaurant isbin Foz one of the most expensive areas in Porto and these places needs to be geared towards international standards and tourist market. Anywhere else they will ask how you want your eggs and if you are not happy they need to remake it totally , the freshly squeezed pineapple juice was defniteky watered down, tasted like nothing, the staff however is extremely friendly and helpful, our waitress was really awesone, I think the kitchen needs to improve on handling these issues. The pastries are excellent. Just some positive...

I was looking forward to going to this cafe based on a blog I read. It started well we got a seat on the very small balcony overlooking the sea. I was hoping to be reviewing the food but I can only review the lack of service. As we waited without a menu for sometime I asked a waitress politely if we could have the one she had taken from another customer. She rolled her eyes and pushed it at me. It wasn’t the English version but not to be picky I translated it and we were ready with our choices. Just to be clear she did speak English as she had been called by another waitress to help two other English people. However, the waitress never came to us in fact she hardly came out on to the balcony at all and when she did it was only to pick something up. We got up to leave she appeared in the doorway but never spoke to us just ignored us completely. Sadly we cannot review the food as we didn’t get any and would certainly not recommend...

Nice restaurant with really nice view. Was lucky I had a spot at the window with good view of the sunset. Good presentation and really liked the flavorful pureed spinach. Before putting the order trough I was told it was 2 euro more than on the English menu. It was fine, I really wanted the steak. Now I actually believe I should have gotten the fish. I got a regular knive and could not really cut it. I asked for a steak knive and got it but it was really hard to cut and basically all muscle. It was hard to cut and chewy. Bit sad because the place and presentation was really nice but I have had a lot of steaks in my life and honestly this was my least favorite, especially from a restaurant. Menu said fries but got wedges. Was a bit hesitant to order dessert but did really like the Raspberry Couli with milk chocolate mousse. Staff was nice and helpful.

Tavi - Confeitaria da Foz in Porto is an ideal spot for a leisurely breakfast. The food is fresh and flavorful—especially the pastel de nata, which is one of the best I’ve had. They also serve freshly squeezed juice that pairs perfectly with their pastries. The breakfast options are diverse, with something for everyone, from classic Portuguese treats to international options. The view is truly breathtaking, overlooking the ocean and creating a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The interior is modern and comfortable, with friendly and attentive staff who make the experience even better. It’s a popular place, so it can get busy, but it’s definitely worth the visit. Perfect for a peaceful morning with great food and a stunning view!
