Finally got to know their new place near the Campanha station and left it disappointed. It had nothing to do with same rich and unique flavour of the meal I had in their previous location. This time it was all about curry that they had and it wasn't the best I've had so far, if not to say the worst I ever had. It was basically a soup with curry powder and the most basic vegetables, I am not a curry expert whatsoever, but I make a better one at home. Their salsas had a very old and expired taste, and this puree was tasteless. So I left this place hungry and missing my 15€. And even though they changed the location, this one is so unorganized inside, we dined right near the printer(what it's doing inside the restaurant?) and a collection of just...

Never tried Mozambique cuisine before but I was willing to give it a try. This place had good rating so my friends and I came over for lunch before our train departs at Campanha station. Location was good and we were craving rice, so this was perfect. We got chicken curry which came with rice and beans. Curry was delicious! The flavor of the curry was warm, rich and fit my palate! Beans and rice made the meal filling. The shrimp croquettes suggested by our server were amazing. everything we had was good. the restaurant wasnt too busy so we were able to take our time. The server and owner were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. Solid...

When I thought we had peaked in Lisbon, Porto surprised us with another one. As a NYer, we're used to good food. But Portugal has got us tearing up from such good food and affordable prices. Exhibit A, Muamba de galinha: made with chicken, palm oil, tomatoes, onions, garlic, and spices, and often thickened with okra. Exhibit B, peanut butter chicken. We looked like the heavens opened and enlightenment came. When it was over, we had put away probably our daily calorie allowance without meaning to. Were there regrets?...

This restaurant comes highly rated and offer a small menu of exotic Mozambique flavours. Tía Orlanda will make sure that your experience is as pleasant as possible. The restaurant is decorated with authentic Mozambican memorabilia and there's also a shop nearby which sells more. The food portions are ample the service is incredibly friendly and professional. If you enjoy extra spicy food then make sure to ask for the hot sauce accompaniments.
