TiPO BAR — Restaurant in Porto

I’m staying about 50 meters from this place and the park across the street is AWESOME on weekends! Filled with people talking and drinking beers from the bars across the street. The beers are cheap and their bar food is good! The man who looks like the owner was very friendly and the young woman behind the bar spoke English well, which helped quite a lot. I definitely plan on coming back for a few more brews before I leave. Come check out the bars and mini market on this block and take your beer over to the park and look out over the Duoro River at sunset....

If you're going for lunch, plan on arriving about 12:30 or so. You should easily get a table. The food and service are great. If you have one more drink than planned and you're one of THOSE people, you might even be able to bum a cigarette from one of those great staff members. (I gave her €1 for that cigarette and light.)

If you're going for Golden Hour, you'll have to take your chances as the entire row of restaurants fill all of their tables — and more — every night. The food and service are still great, but you may not...

Stopped here as I love this spot in the city. Amazing views and a lovely atmosphere with several bars in the same strip. In fact we stayed all day and only left because we had evening dinner reservations. One criticism… they bought out some snacks which we thought were complimentary as we didn’t order them and they were presented like a gift. However upon receiving the bill we had been charged for them and for more than we’d been given. Overall did not ruin...
