This is a place you should come at least once. A very small restaurant where the food is home made. They have daily dishes which are very good and it feels like eating mom's food. I had bacalao, fried and with home made fried potatoes, also the fried entrants were very good. But the best thing is the service. They are the nicest people I've had in a restaurant here in Oporto, the man who serves is incledibly nice and he will help you with anything you need. As I said, it was like eating at home. Thank you so much ☺️ my only thing is that it was a bit expensive, probably because it was in a tourist zone (30€ for everything being 1 person only)

We stumbled upon this place by complete accident and it was so wonderful. We sat down and the owner came up to us to let us know what the kitchen was preparing - there was no menu. We ate EVERYTHING and it was so so delicious. This is a family establishment where each member of the family contributes to the menu (ie the owners sister made the dessert, his mom made certain dishes, etc) we had lots of wine, lots of food, delicious dessert, and excellent service. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Expect a traditional home cooked meal. They’ve only been open less than a month so give them a try.

It felt like having a real, home-style Portuguese meal. The octopus was tender, not greasy, and had a light, clean flavour — not salty at all, which I really liked. The codfish with mashed potatoes and tangy sauce was absolutely outstanding — rich, bright, and so delicious. Both dishes came in very generous portions, which made the whole meal even more satisfying. The soup of the day seemed like traditional Caldo Verde — warm, smooth, and a perfect start. The owner and his son were incredibly kind, and that made the whole experience even more memorable

This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in Portugal. To start off they served me a completely raw steak. When I brought this up to send it back they offered to cook the same steak more in put in back in the sauce. The amount of food safety issues with that is disgusting. The cook came out to argue with me after I said I didn’t want it anymore to tell me raw was the “Portuguese way”. I asked for the check and they still charged me for the dish despite me not touching it. They also over charged us in general, each plate totaling 18€, atrocious prices for porto and you will be hard pressed to find a place that expensive for such trash quality. Save yourself a bad experience and pass on this place, I can’t believe it is reviewed...

Wow! I can’t say enough about this cozy little family restaurant that we happened into tonight when other options were exhausted. We are so glad we did! The cooking was authentic Portuguese, the portions more than copious and Joanna who took our order was an absolute treasure. Many of the ingredients are homemade by the family. I am only sorry I didn’t take some photos to include in the review. We are going to be in town for several more days and will definitely stop in again. Joanna also speaks French so if you are lost with your Portuguese and speak some French you will feel right at home. With several drinks each we spent under 20...
